Jolivet’s eyes zoom in to look closer at the ordinary random reality, which creates little mysteries yet to unveil. Like the unnoticed background music playing in an elevator, or the background noise in a busy metro station,  Jolivet focuses on these otherwise mundane “background visuals” in life. His witty images capture and dance around layers of meaning hidden in the everyday oddities, only left for the readers to unfold at their own choice.
